HCM-CDTA
This project was a collaboration between the Hart Cluett Museum (HCM), the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA), and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). I was brought into the project by Professor Sara Tack, who had been approached to create the first edition the year prior—an exhibition highlighting the rich history of rail travel in the Capital Region.
For this second installment, our focus shifted to CDTA’s own story and its continued service to New York’s Capital Region. Under the mentorship of Sara, I served as their graphic designer, developing the visual identity, layout, and print-ready assets for the exhibition now on display at the Albany–Rensselaer Amtrak Station.
As I shared on LinkedIn:
“Well, that’s a wrap! Another wonderful opportunity thanks to Sara Tack, thank you for always keeping me in mind for these projects and for teaching me the intricacies of graphic and print design. A big thank you to Kathy Sheehan at the Hart Cluett Museum for sharing the fascinating history of Capital District Transportation Authority and Brendan Kennedy from Overit for your PR expertise and exceptional copywriting.

You can check out the exhibition at the Albany–Rensselaer Amtrak Station, where you’ll also see the first edition of the rail history panels created by Sara Tack and Joey Morse.”
